Generally you should post your question on the branch for the country or region you are asking or advising about.
i.e. if your question is about India you should post it on the India branch. If it is about Sydney, post it on the Australian branch.
If your question is related to a subject area rather than a particular destination, you may wish to post it under the appropriate thematic branches on Thorn Tree.
i.e. If your question is about baby food in Cambodia, you can post on our Kids to Go branch. If your question is about the best camera to take on your trip you may post on our Travel Tech branch.
You are welcome to post your question on multiple branches if it is relevant to all, but avoid excessive cross posting as this will likely be reported as spam by our community members (and will not assist you with your query).
If you're not sure, do a search to see what other travellers have done, and take your best shot.
You can also email community@lonelyplanet.com and we'll point you in the right direction.
Before posting, it's best to do a quick search to see if your question has already been covered elsewhere or in the FAQs within each branch. Nothing is more annoying than the same question asked over and over again. Hello Ground Hog Day!
