Thorn Tree (or, as the regulars call it, TT) began in 1996 and is now one of the oldest forums on the web. The brain child of Tony Wheeler, one of the founders of Lonely Planet, believed it was important for travellers to share knowledge and experiences.
If you want to get down to the real nitty-gritty, Thorn Tree, our online bulletin board, is the forum for exchanging travel advice and opinion with other travellers.
